- 1 cup shortening (1/2 butter or oleo / 1/2 crisco)
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs - separated
- 1 tsp cold water
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 package chocolate chips (6 oz)
- 1 cup salted peanutes with shells
- Cream shortening.
- Add 1/2 cup white sugar + 1/2 cup brown sugar.
- Add yolks with water and vanilla.
- Add flour with salt.
- Put in 9 x 13 pan.
- Then springlk chocolate chips on top of dough
- Pres chips into dough
- Beat egg whites stiff
- Add 1 cup brown sugar
- Spread on dough
- Spread on peanuts - on egg white mixture
- Bake 30 minutes @ 350
- Cut while warm
